If you have been a reader of this blog for any length of time, you know that we are consistent and passionate advocates for the Oklahoma economy.
We have built our business, Standley Systems, around the principle that if we’re going to grow our company here, we ought to hire here, bank here, and spend here. This is how we’ve run our business. And we have been pretty vocal about encouraging other Oklahoma businesses to do the same.
It’s just something we feel very strongly about. Which is why we were doubly pleased to learn recently that Standley Systems had been chosen to be one of two primary providers of copiers and multifunction office equipment for the State of Oklahoma.
We value our relationship with this state we love and are prepared to do everything in our power to make sure the people of Oklahoma get maximum value and the optimum efficiency.
And in keeping with our Oklahoma First approach, we have already hired six Oklahomans to help us execute the set up and rollout of the copiers going into various state Agencies. We’re thrilled to be stimulating our local economy by putting Oklahomans to work.
Of course, this isn’t the first time the State of Oklahoma has given Standley Systems the opportunity to deliver document management solutions. We have worked hard for Oklahoma Department of Human Services over the last five years. But this is by far the largest and most comprehensive project we have taken on for the state.
In that time, we have worked very hard to position ourselves to be a true statewide vendor. Focusing our efforts and investing our resources within Oklahoma, and with offices in six Oklahoma communities, we have developed the ability to provide timely service to all 77 counties. All this clearly played a part in making Standley a logical choice for the state.
At Standley Systems, we’ve been very intentional about keeping our business strategy focused on Oklahoma. Now the state we’ve chosen to promote, has chosen us. We think that’s pretty great.
